The official NYC subway and transit maps; no bells, whistles, or other complications.
No internet connection required.
All New York subway, bus, and rail maps, including: the New York Subway map, the Brooklyn bus map, Queens bus map, Manhattan bus map, Bronx bus map, and Staten Island bus map, as well as the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) network map and the night subway map.
From the official MTA sources, you can zoom the subway map (or any transit map) in, zoom it out, and that's all. Very simple and easy to use! Opens to the NYC subway map immediately so you can quickly decide if you need to hop on the train in front of you, or wait for the next one. I've also tried to keep the size down so anyone can install it.
This app is excellent for visitors to NYC and longtime residents alike.

Great app. I live in NYC and use this app every day. It's very detailed, easy to read, even showing the name of our neighborhoods and where the parks are. Has several bus and train maps of the different boroughs of NYC. Also a subway night map (much needed) and a LIRR map too. Definitely recommend this app.

As a native New Yorker (yes some are still left) that has been living abroad for some time, I feel like a tourist in my own city due to so many changes while I was away, this app helps when I need that extra reinsurance that I'm going the right way (I know some New Yorker). Plus I recommend to friend's when visiting the City, since it's discreet.

Paper subway maps are still available at the booths in the subway station (July 2023) but this app is much easier to keep up with and use than the paper maps, especially when the Subway is crowded. You can zoom in close enough to figure out easily what trains are available at a given station.

You can now view other NYC transit maps! This includes the Brooklyn bus map, Queens bus map, Manhattan bus map, Bronx bus map, and Staten Island bus map, as well as the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) network map and the night subway map.
